Preaching Ministry
Purpose
Teach and preach the Word of God and the gospel of Christ in truth. (2 Tim 2:2; 2 Tim. 2:15 )
Teach and equip others through Bible study and by example, to go out and teach others also. (Matt. 28:19-20)
Instruct the congregation in God’s commandments for dealing with sin, and forebearing with and restoring the erring. (Matt. 18:15-20; Gal. 6:1-3)
Preach the word, convince, rebuke, and exhort, even when there may be those who don’t want to hear the truth of God’s word. (2 Tim. 4:2-5)
Share the Word of God with individuals who are having personal problems, and be compassionate and helpful whenever possible to those who seek help in a time of crisis. (Gal. 6:1-2; Rom. 12:10—15)
Do the work of an evangelist. (2 Tim. 4:5) Be involved in as many different activities or opportunities as possible that some people might be won. "Become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” (1 Cor. 9:19—22)
