MISSIONS MINISTRY 

Purpose

To spread the gospel to lost souls both at home and abroad using local abilities and resources.  Every member is called to be involved with individual as well as group mission efforts.  This can be accomplished by involvement in a Bible Correspondence course ministry, letters of encouragement to missionaries or small congregations, prayers, bulletin board announcements,  contributing money to the different mission activities and even becoming part of a team to work in an area or foreign mission effort.  “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, , for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes …” (Rom. 1:16)  “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you …” (Matt. 28:19-20)
