BENEVOLENCE MINISTRY

Purpose

As we have opportunity and means to do so, we help whomever is in need whether the need be physical or spiritual. We hope to make a difference for Christ in this community through the blessings we receive from God our Father. Jesus taught, “give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away ” (Matt. 5:42)  Also, that the Lord says, “… If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.” (2 Thess. 3:10).

DESCRIPTION

Caring for the needy has always been a part of God’s plans.  In Matthew 25:31-46 Jesus gives us a picture of the judgment scene in which those who are to depart from Him are those who did not provide for others in need.  He also declared that when a person in need is fed, given a cup of water, clothed, or visited that it has actually been done to Him.

In addition to food and clothing for the needy, this ministry currently provides food, clothing, medicines and schooling for three children on a daily basis.
